CAREL ir32 Phase out and IR33 Universal Update
CAREL ir32 Phase out
CAREL are to Phase out the current ir32 range of CAREL controllers by the end of October 2011. CAREL have informed customers and distributors that this would be happening, and that the IR33 Universal will be replacing the ir32 range.

According to CAREL, Italy, the level of production for the multi-input version (codes ir33*9* and DN33*9*) is not yet at fully scale, but approx. 400pcs/week which nevertheless fulfils current demand.
Backlog will be dealt with during the month of August and from September deliveries will be prompt with standard lead times.
Between August and September a new firmware 2.1 version will go into production, bringing in new functions and improving others, especially:
- The ON/OFF control using the Pon parameter has been made available with a user interface
- The procedure to view the firmware revision on the display screen has been included
- The functions of the digital inputs as been extended (c29/c30 = 13,14,15)
- Logical enabling (c19 = 5,6) has been added to the outputs with a dependency of 2
- The output set as System on (dependency = 18) is disabled in case of serious alarms
- Properly functioning auto tuning
- Corrected functioning of the second probe where c19= 2,3,4,5,6,11
