Adaiabatic Cooling for the office

Offices can become stuffy, dry and uncomfortable. Add to this the many changes in outside temperature it can be hard to manage and maintain a warm comfortable office that people enjoy coming to work in.
We have been providing humidifiers for offices for over two decades, and have seen many different products come and go, some with great success and others, well, they are probably not worth mentioning.

The best product, so far, seems to be the new Munters CCX unit that delivers cooled air by the process of adiabatic cooling. Imagine standing in a hot town centre during the day with the sun beaming down, and you take a trip to the nearby beach (not many places you can do that of course in the UK!) - the chilled air that comes off via the sea by this process of adiabatic cooling means you are more likely to feel cooler on the beach rather than the sea.

So, what this means in terms of cooling the office down is that by using an adiabatic humidifier that can be manoeuvred around the office, you can expect the same type of cooling because of the wetted pad that sits inside the unit, and the flow of warm air that passes over it and enters the workspace.

What you get is fresh, cooled air without having to rely on dangerous gases that sit inside an air conditioning unit. You can of course combine the use of the Munters CCX with air conditioning for the days when it just gets too much, but be sure you have enough ventilation for the chilled air to pass out of (it will stop the office from getting too humid).
