Humidity
Moisture is an indication of the amount of water vapor in the air, and can refer to one of several measures of humidity. Formally, moist air is not "moist air", but a vapor mixture of air and water, and the humidity is defined in terms of water content in this mixture, called the absolute humidity. In everyday use, it usually refers to the relative humidity, expressed as a percentage of the weather and households, humidistats so called because it measures the current absolute humidity to the maximum. Specific humidity is the ratio of water vapor content of the mixture to the dry air content. Water vapor content of the mixture can be measured either by mass per volume or as partial pressure.
