FCS1 MCHRTF
FCS & MCHRTF Speed Controllers

4, 8, 10 and 12 Amp single-phase speed controllers
FCS1*
The single-phase FCS units are electronic voltage regulators that use the phase-control principle to regulate the output voltage supplied to the load, according to a control signal input.
The controllers are used to control asynchronous motors, such as fans, pumps, mixers, stirrers, etc. By applying a 0 to 10 Vdc control signal, the effective voltage provided to the load varies from 0 to 230 Vac.
The board also features, at the terminal marked +V, a non-stabilised power source, 20Vdc 40 mA, which can be used to create a manual control signal using a 10 kOhm potentiometer. The controllers are protected against short-circuits by a fuse on the outside of the board, for easy access and, where necessary, replacement.

MCHRTF*
The MCHRTF series electronic devices are single-phase voltage controllers that use the principle of phase control to adjust the effective voltage output to the load, based on the α phase of the PWM control signal.
One typical application is the speed control of single-phase condenser fan motors, based on
the pressure or the temperature measured on the heat exchanger.
The MCHRTF controllers have a fuse located on the outside of the board, thus allowing easy
inspection and replacement, where necessary.
