CAREL humiFog represents a new generation of adiabatic atomisers that consume just 4 W of power for each l/h of atomised water. humiFog is suitable for all applicaitons that require a high humidification capacity, up to 500kg/h. Custom models are also available for capacities up to 5000kg/h.
humiFog indusrial humidifier uses a special pump to deliver water at high pressure through steel nozzles and produce a very fine and uniform fog. The droplets generated then spontaneously evaporate, humidifying and cooling the air.
The CAREL humiFog system, unlike classic air/water atomisation systems, does not require the use of a compressor or the installation of a compressed air line. In addition, as a further guarantee of hygiene, humiFog does not atomise recirculated water, in compliance with the main guidelines and international standards.
Advantages:
- low energy consumption: an average of just 4 W / (kg/h), equal to 1150W for the 250kg/h model
- high capacity: standard models are available with capacities from 60kg/h to 500 kg/h, and custom models up to 5000kg/h
- very fine atomisation: that requires minimum space for evaporation
- wide range of models for all requirements: with inverter; for precise continuous modulation of capacity to humidify in the AHU / duct; without inverter: the capacity is modulated in steps, while the water pressure is fixed (70bars) - this mode is used for direct humidification and this mode is used for direct humidification and adiabatic cooling of the room
- hygiene: in the AHU/duct applications humiFog industrial humidifier is certified according to the most recent European standards; for ambient humidification the water distribution lines downstream of the pump can be automatically emptied and washed
Adiabatic cooling:
During spontaneous evaporation, the droplets of atomised water absorb sensible heat from the air, thus cooling it. A CAREL humiFog that atomises 250kg/h of water has a cooling capacity of around 175kW for a power consumption of just 1.15kW. This makes the humiFog industrial humdifier especially suitable for industrial application with presses that generate sensible heat, such as computer rooms, steel works mechanical, textiles and printing industries.
